We IMPACT & IMPART
- A. We grow Prayer and Action Teams
- We work through local, indigenous churches in the Americas primarily, to form Prayer and Action Teams consisting of at least two members each.
- Based on a principle of organic growth, we encourage the initial two members to recruit an additional two each, who will in turn recruit two, and so on until the team reaches an ideal number of twelve.
- At this point, we encourage the team to separate into six teams of two each and start the process again. As each of these six teams reach an ideal number of twelve, they also separate into teams of two, and continue the process.
- B. Teams share in the Task of Prayer
- We share in the activity of prayer so as to empower all other action by preparing ourselves to listen, obey and enter into the action of God.
- We practice the discipline of daily prayer individually and gather together for prayer as a team on a regular basis.
- Assembled together, we apply Jesus' principle of specific, focused, and directed prayer proceeding from an atmosphere of communal worship, praise and adoration of God.
- C. Teams act to carry out the Tasks of Integral Mission
- We build bridges of information and communication between people with problems and people with solutions, between needs and supply.
- We identify areas of spiritual, societal, economic, physical, and environmental oppression proceeding from cosmic captivity and human disobedience issuing in global injustices.
- We say to the captives, “Be free!”, and to the disobedient, “Repent!” To all we say, “Be reconciled to God!”
- Based on this message, we put people together with people across national, ethnic, sectarian, cultural, and economic divides to facilitate the sharing of strengths in one region as a provision for weakness and want in another.
- We identify spiritual, social, economic, cultural and environmental opportunity in specific locations and assist in planting and nurturing seeds of renewal and transformation.
- We work through and with the indigenous church in North, Central and South America to facilitate solutions for local populations that will alleviate apathy, arrogance, pride, and poverty while transforming civil society, humanizing political institutions, and resolving environmental challenges so as to enhance the welfare of all people.
