"Ask and you shall receive..."
This is something you can do at anytime in any place: although you will probably want to set aside times and places for very private prayer. Further, we also urge you to join together with at least one other person for regular times of asking and agreeing togther in faith for answers to specific requests.
Jesus stressed the critical nature of believing: and he did so by sort of "putting the ball in our court:" when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? Well, that's up to you. Will you be found believing? So, while some assume this verse prophesies apostasy, as if Jesus was saying, "There will be no faith on earth when I come," in fact, Jesus for good reason stresses the importance of you and me believing actively and aggressively: where there is aggressive faith in action there will be commesurate results.
You can share by giving to this ministry gifts of money or goods. You can also share by lending your abilities, knowledge, and expertise directly in projects to launch and sustain micro-enterprise business opportunities in places of need: we need your business, technical, and/or economic expertise for short, medium and long-term projects. Contact us for further information. (See CONTACT page)
You can share by being aware of growing global Christian concern for needs such as poverty, AIDS, hunger, and injustice and the opportunity we have as believers to bring glory to Jesus by simply "loving our neighbor as ourselves," not merely in the words of the gospel, but also in the deeds. This means that you can share by being aware of the work of various groups working towards these ends worldwide. A good place to begin is at The Micah Challenge. You might also consider receiving our Prayer Alert Newsletter. This will keep you aware of current developments, prayer needs, and ministry/service opportunities; and check out the links in the right-hand column of this page.
